Inside FC7735

A place to scan. A system behind it.

FC7735 places a QR reading window at a door or equipment access point. Its mounting frame suits an 86-box installation, while the selected output passes credential data to your controller or application. A successful read is the first step; your system still needs to decide whether access is allowed.

Choose around your project

The details that
make it fit.

01

Choose the host interface

RS485, RS232, TTL, Wiegand and Ethernet are version choices. Match the electrical interface, data format and firmware to the receiving system before ordering.

02

Match the power supply

Serial, Wiegand and TTL versions use 5–15 V DC. The Ethernet version uses 12–24 V DC. Check the supplied version before connecting power.

03

Plan the scan position

Leave a clear approach for a phone or printed pass. If card reading is required, select the appropriate card module and confirm the credential type with your project.

From credential to action

How the parts
work together.

Choose the reader version around the system that will receive its data. A matching connector alone does not establish protocol or controller compatibility.

  1. 01

    Present the code

The visitor holds a phone or printed credential in front of the reading window.

  2. 02

    Validate the data

The reader passes the decoded data through the selected interface. Your application checks validity and access rules.

  3. 03

    Control passage

The configured access system operates the door or gate and provides the required result to the user.

Installation & connections

Plan the fit.

  1. Use the dimension and mounting drawings to check the 86-box, fixing points and cable route. Allow space behind the 35.10 mm reader body for the supplied connections.
  2. Select the interface version before selecting the supply: serial, Wiegand and TTL versions use 5–15 V DC; Ethernet uses 12–24 V DC. Wire with the power off.
  3. Avoid direct sunlight and strong light at the reading window. Protect the glass during assembly; check surrounding metal if a card-reading module is selected.
  4. Fix the mounting frame, route the cable and fit the reader as shown in the manual. Test representative phone and paper codes with the host system before handover.

A few things worth knowing.

Can the same configuration tool be used for every reader?

Do not assume so. Reader firmware and access-control firmware can use different tools, configuration codes or platform commands. Share the overseas model, firmware and intended operating mode so the matching method can be checked before changing settings.

What should I check if serial output is missing or unreadable?

Match the baud rate, data format and electrical interface on both sides, then inspect the cable and any serial-to-USB adapter. Also confirm whether the reader is sending raw content or a framed protocol message before treating additional bytes as corrupted data.

What should we check when a reader does not react to a code?

First confirm that the reader has started normally and that the code is complete, correctly generated and presented within the usable reading area. For codes shown on a phone, raise the screen brightness and remove glare; if known-good codes still produce no response, record the indicator and buzzer behavior for support.
