Use an enrolled fingerprint, 6–10 digit PIN, 13.56 MHz IC card, mechanical key or the connected Tuya Bluetooth app. The manual lists 300 total users, divided into 100 fingerprint, 100 PIN and 100 card entries. Configure administrator and household permissions before use.

Install four AAA alkaline batteries with the indicated polarity. The manual specifies 6.0 ± 0.3 V operation. The 5 V Type-C port supplies temporary emergency power and does not charge the batteries. Keep the mechanical key available as a separate backup.
Follow the battery and emergency-power instructions for the supplied lock.
Plan FC20L for compatible interior doors in homes, apartments or offices. Use the documented Tuya Bluetooth pairing and member-management workflow. Remote services require a matching gateway and supported configuration; the lock alone is not a direct Wi-Fi access device.

Check a 30–50 mm door thickness, 54 mm handle bore, 25 mm edge bore and 60 / 70 mm latch backset. Select the latch setting and handle direction for the actual door. Compare the supplied template with the existing preparation before drilling.

Adjust the latch and handle direction, install the latch, route the front-handle cable and fix the rear handle using the matching hardware. Insert four AAA alkaline batteries and test latch movement, credentials and key access with the door open.
