Introduction
Picture this: you are in a meeting and a family member calls – they forgot their key and are locked outside. Or you are on vacation and need to let in a repair technician. With the FEOCEY Home App, these situations are resolved in seconds, from anywhere in the world.
App Core Functions
Remote Unlock
Through the FEOCEY Home App, you can unlock your door from any location with internet access. Simply open the app, tap the unlock button, and the lock responds within 2-3 seconds. There is no need to be on the same local network as the lock.
Real-Time Status Monitoring
The app displays your lock’s current status in real time: locked, unlocked, or in transit. Each state update is reflected immediately, so you always know whether your door is secure.
Access History
Every remote unlock event is logged with a timestamp and the method used (app, code, or physical key). You can review the full access history for any 30-day period directly in the app.
When Remote Control Shines
Package Deliveries
When a delivery driver needs temporary access to leave a package inside, unlock remotely from your phone while watching through a doorbell camera. Lock again immediately after they leave.
Pet Sitters and House Cleaners
Schedule a one-time access code for your pet sitter, or unlock remotely when your cleaner arrives. No need to hide a key under the doormat or coordinate schedules.
Elderly Parents
If your parents live independently, remote unlock means you can let yourself in during an emergency without requiring them to come to the door. Simply unlock from the app and enter.
Security Considerations
Remote unlock is protected by the same AES-256 encryption that secures all FEOCEY communication. You can set up two-factor authentication for your FEOCEY Home account to prevent unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.
Offline Scenario
If internet is down, FEOCEY locks retain a local backup of all access codes, so keypad codes continue to work. Physical keys serve as the ultimate backup for complete connectivity failure.
