Compact swing gate

11 answers for 506-E42

Questions about 506-E42.

How do we choose a gate structure?

Start with the passage workflow, available space and users. Swing gates use swinging barrier leaves; flap gates retract their barriers; tripod turnstiles use a three-arm mechanism; full-height turnstiles use a rotating barrier; AB gates coordinate two sequential stages. Review the lane layout, supervision, accessible route and emergency behaviour with the project team.

Does a single-mechanism cabinet mean a complete single lane?

For compatible swing and flap systems, a single-mechanism cabinet controls one side of a lane. Two matching outer cabinets form one lane; adding a compatible double-mechanism cabinet between them can form two lanes. Single and double mechanisms describe cabinet configurations, not complete lane quantities. Tripod, full-height and AB gates use their own arrangements. Confirm the final quantities and footprint on the project drawing.

Is cabinet size the same as clear passage width?

No. Cabinet size, clear passage width and the complete installed footprint describe different measurements. Confirm the cabinet arrangement, arm or barrier movement, accessible route, fixing pattern and service clearance using the approved project drawing.

Are the pictured readers and face terminals included?

The pictures illustrate possible access configurations. Confirm the gate, readers, terminals, controllers, software and quantities in the order. Match the credential output, gate input, control protocol and power arrangement before integration.

What should we provide to request a gate layout?

Send the entrance width, planned lanes, expected passage workflow, reader or controller, floor construction, power and cable route. Include the accessible route and required emergency behaviour. Ask for the model-specific installation and wiring references before preparing the site.

What should I share when choosing a device?

Tell us which credentials people will use, where the device will be installed, which interfaces are required and what should happen in the software workflow. A mounting drawing, host-equipment description or simple process diagram helps us identify the questions that must be confirmed before recommending a configuration.

Does every configuration include the same features?

No. Credential modules, interfaces, mounting parts, network options and software can vary within the same product family. Confirm the exact model and selected options in writing before designing an enclosure, cable set or integration around it.

How can I get a manual or datasheet?

Find available documents by model in the download center. If the manual, specification or installation drawing you need is not listed, send the model and configuration to our team so we can identify the matching document.

How should we evaluate a product for our project?

Start with the credential, mounting, interfaces and software flow that matter to the final installation. Confirm the sample configuration in writing, test it in the intended environment and record any differences before planning a larger rollout.

What should I include in a technical support request?

Include the overseas product model, firmware or software version, connection method and a short sequence that reproduces the issue. Screenshots, indicator behavior and relevant logs help; do not send passwords, access credentials or personal biometric data.

What should we check if a device repeatedly restarts?

Compare the power supply voltage, current capacity and wiring with the specification for the selected configuration. If the problem continues, record whether it happens at startup or during a particular action and send the model, firmware and observations to technical support.
